Description

Bijur Delimon DD5 Dualine Valve - 4 Lube Points

L. Dewitt's SKU #: DD54250  |  Mfr Part #: DD54250

Bearing failures, unplanned line stops, and missed manual-lube routes are the silent killers of plant uptime. The Bijur Delimon DD Dualine Valve eliminates that risk by automatically metering a precise, individually adjustable shot of oil or grease to every bearing on every pump cycle - with a positive indicator stem you can verify at a glance.

Built For:
  • Reliability & Maintenance Managers who are tired of chasing bearing failures and unscheduled downtime.
  • Plant & Lubrication Engineers spec'ing centralized systems that need precise, repeatable, individually adjustable output.
  • OEMs & System Integrators building production machinery that ships with a fully integrated lubrication circuit.
  • MRO Buyers sourcing direct replacements for legacy Bijur, Farval, or other dualine divider valves.
  • Maintenance Technicians & Millwrights who need standard NPT/U-81 fittings and a visible indicator stem to verify operation in the field.

The Bijur Delimon DD54250 is a Heavy-duty (DD50 series) dualine divider valve assembly with 4 discharge ports (each valve serves 2 bearings, or 1 with cross-porting), rated to 3,500 psi (240 bar), individually adjustable, and equipped with Brass indicator housing with stainless steel indicator pins. Discharge volume is fully adjustable from .18cc (.011 cu. in.) up to 4.74cc (.289 cu. in.) per piston stroke - per outlet, independent of every other outlet on the block.

How DD Dualine Valves Work

DD valves are fully hydraulic - no springs, no check valves, just two moving parts (a pilot piston and a main piston). Pressurized lubricant entering the valve forces the pilot piston down, applying pressure to the top of the main piston, which discharges a metered shot of lubricant to the bearing through the lower port. When supply-line pressure reverses, the main piston travels in the opposite direction and discharges through the upper port. Each DD valve serves two bearings by default; a simple cross-porting kit converts it to single-discharge if you need one. No system redesign is required when adding or removing lubrication points - and every output is individually adjustable.

Why Reliability Teams Choose This Valve

  • Stops bearing failures before they start. Every cycle delivers a precise, repeatable shot to every bearing - no missed routes, no operator dependency.
  • Verifiable at a glance. Indicator stem on every section confirms the valve is firing - your maintenance tech does not need a stethoscope or a flow meter.
  • Tunable per bearing. Each output adjusts independently, so a heavily loaded spindle bearing gets more lubricant than a light idler - without adding hardware.
  • No system redesign when scope changes. Add or remove lubrication points by swapping or repositioning valve blocks - the rest of the system is untouched.
  • Two moving parts. No springs. No check valves. Fewer wear items, fewer failure modes, longer service life in dirty environments.

Common Applications

  • Centralized dualine lubrication systems on production machinery
  • Steel mills, paper mills, cement plants, mining
  • Heavy stamping presses and forging equipment
  • Conveyor and material-handling drive systems
  • OEM lubrication circuits on custom machinery
  • Direct replacement for legacy Bijur and Farval dualine valves
Sizing & Service Note: Output is fully adjustable per outlet via the discharge adjustment screw. Use a Bijur Delimon SureFire II or compatible dualine pump as the supply source. For replacement indicator kits, micro-switch monitoring kits, and porting kits, see datasheet #35513 (DD & DM Valves) and #35965 (DD50 & DM60 Indicator Pin Monitor).
