What you'll also need
- Type C control units, one per lube point (e.g. CJB junction or CSA straight types) (DS 36734; B151 p.38)
- A system pressure gauge to set the bypass to the pre-calculated pressure (DS 36734; DS 35771)
- For V5W: the 1 gallon or 5 gallon reservoir, ordered separately (DS 35771)
- Mounting hardware for V5W: 4 x HS332 screws and 4 x HW310 washers, sold separately (DS 35771)
Before you order
- Bypass: remove locking plug with 1/4IN hex key; clockwise raises flow (CV) or pressure (CP) (DS 35771).
- Use Type C control units only; Type F meter units cannot be used with continuous lubricators (DS 35470; DS 36734).
- V5B generation trap: pump & motor D2944 will not fit reservoir D2559-1, and 60651/70617 will not fit old reservoir D2559 (DS 36734).
- Relief limits: 130 psi on constant-volume (CV) units; 200 psi on constant-pressure (CP) V5W and 3-phase V5 (DS 35771; DS 36811).
- Viscosity with control units: 100-10,000 SSU (V5B, V5W); 20-1500 cSt (V5 6/12/30 L assemblies) (DS 36734; DS 35771; DS 36811).
Choosing between options
- V5B (60443 TENV / 70618 TEFC): complete unit with 1/2 gallon reservoir, 115 VAC (DS 36734).
- V5W: pump/motor only for your 1 or 5 gallon reservoir; the only family choice for 230 VAC single-phase, 24 VDC or constant-pressure (DS 35771).
- V5 assemblies 72123-72127: complete 6, 12 or 30 L steel units with low-level switch; -RF adds a return filter; 72127 is 3-phase (DS 36811).
